ABB, a technology company for automation and electrification, will be exhibiting at the IEEE PES T&D Conference in Chicago May 5-7, 2026 (Booth #1131). The show is a chance to see the company's grid technology products in person and talk to their engineers.
Equipment and demos covering intelligent substations, microgrid and renewable energy management, centralized distribution protection and control, and prefabricated power distribution enclosures (eHouse). They're also running 20 technical sessions with Q&A.
The context is simple: utilities are dealing with aging infrastructure, higher demand from data centers and electrification, and more frequent weather disruptions. ABB sells hardware and software aimed at those problems.
There will also be a NASCAR EV prototype at the booth, tied to ABB's sponsorship of NASCAR's electrification efforts, and former driver David Ragan will be there.
